Dr. Craig Stevenson, DVM
Dr. Stevenson is a 1974 graduate of the University of Illinois. He is the Managing DVM of the Sandwich Veterinary Hospital and has worked here since 1976. He likes seeing the joy that people experience with their pets and helping them to stay healthy to continue that bond. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, nature, and skiing.
Dr. Marianne Krumdick, DVM
Dr. Krumdick started veterinary training at the University College Dublin in 2001 and graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2006. Her professional interests include surgery, ophthalmology and shelter medicine. In her free time she loves spending time with her niece and nephew and her dog (Moose), a Labrador retriever mix with a great affinity for ingesting socks and towels. Moose was a junior surgery dog with heartworm disease adopted from the University of Illinois in 2004. She also loves to spend time in the pottery studio, creating pots and decorative bowls. Dr. Krumdick recently joined the Veterinary Corps of the US Army Reserves. She spends one weekend a month at Fort Sheridan with the veterinary unit and she is scheduled to attend the officer basic course sometime this summer. The most rewarding part of being in veterinary medicine is the interaction with the awesome clients and their pets. I enjoy answering pet related questions and hope to provide a very rewarding experience here at Sandwich Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Theresa Herbers, DVM
I graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2008. Prior to veterinary school, I received my bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from St. Olaf College in Minnesota and joined the small but very proud group of Oles across the world. I returned to Minnesota to complete a one-year internship at the veterinary school in St. Paul. The internship offered an extra year of training in surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. I moved to Sandwich in the fall of 2009 and have since been enjoying working with our great team and meeting the many wonderful people here. My special interests in the veterinary field include behavior, cardiology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. I have two dogs of my own who keep me grounded and smiling. I enjoy hiking with my dogs, reading, roaming the bookstore, and playing softball and volleyball.
