Julie joined the Sandwich Veterinary Hospital family in 1993. She lives in Somonauk with her husband, four children, two dogs, a diabetic cat, 4 lizards, rabbit and fish. She spends most of her free time with her children and going to their sporting events. She has a passion for horses and the Tetons.
Christine Dobroth has been the Practice manager for Sandwich Veterinary Hospital for 11 years now. Helping animals and their owners has always been a dream of hers. She loves the hospital, the surrounding community and the excellent team she works with.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and two Grandchildren that are the love of her life. She has two kitties Trinity and Neo, based on one of favorite movies the Matrix. She also, enjoys making crafts, Baby boxes and gift bags and has participated in the surrounding area craft shows.
Tina came to the practice in July of 2005 as a recent graduate from Iowa State University . She resides on her family farm in between Sandwich and Plano with her husband and 2 children. In her free time, she enjoys watching her children show pigs in the summer and working outside in the garden.
I started my career as a veterinary technician and quickly realized that my passion was in grooming. For the past 25 years I’ve groomed dogs, cats, show dogs and occasional a pig, that’s right Pot Belly and Guinea pigs.
Every year I attend CE to ensure that I stay on top of the latest and greatest styles and equipment.
In my spare time, I attend dog shows; spend time with my family and my two wonderful grandchildren. Disney is my most favorite place to visit and more so now that I have grandchildren.
Jen grew up in Colorado then moved to Wyoming where she earned an animal and veterinary science degree at the University of Wyoming. She moved to Illinois in 2011 and lives here with her husband Alex and their three huskies Klix, Kyuss, and Angel. In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, working on cars, and anything she can do outdoors that includes her dogs.
Lisa joined the Sandwich Veterinary Hospital in August 2004. She lives in Sandwich with her two daughters and 3 cats. She spends most of her free time with her daughters sports/cheer, and hopes to one day line on the gulf.

Char joined the Sandwich Veterinary Hospital in 2001. She grew up in Newark where she still resides with her husband and three children. Char also has five fur babies Dexter(Lab), Mister (English Bulldog), and three cats Soapy, Edgar, & Phrank. Char's hobbies include doing just about anything with her family. She also has a great love for antiques, making crafts, reading, and anything Disney.
Amy has been working at the Sandwich Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist since October 2015. She is currently working on her Associates of Sciences in Biology at Waubonsee Community College. She plans to continue her education in zoology at a four year university. Amy adopted her cat Chester from the Sandwich hospital when she worked for us as a kennel assistant in high school. Chester is now 4 years old happy and fat as ever!
Sheila joined the Sandwich Veterinary Hospital in 2016 because she enjoys helping people and caring for their pets. She lives in Big Rock with her son and their dog Ruger a German shorthair pointer and their barn cat, Kitty a tortoise domestic shorthair. When she is not working she enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking, fishing, quading and snowmobiling with friends and family.

I recently joined the Sandwich Veterinary Hospital’s team in February. I love taking care of all our client’s furry family members as if they were my own. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my dog Chevy going on walks, and swimming. I also am an avid photographer.
I joined Sandwich Veterinary Hospital in October 2016. One of my favorite things about this job is providing the best love and care for our client’s furry babies. I am currently in college, trying to pursue a career as a veterinary technician. My passion is helping animals and people through the work of animal therapy. In my spare time, I volunteer at Equine Dreams; A therapeutic horseback riding organization that helps children and adults with special needs. I also enjoy cuddling with my dog, hiking, and traveling!
