Dr. Kate St. John is a graduate of the University of Illinois where she received both her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences and her veterinary degree. She is originally a native of Kendall County and was very involved in 4-H. Dr. 

St. John has a special interest in family medicine, preventative care, and feline medicine and she has earned a Cat Friendly Veterinary Certification from the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).  Dr. St. John also strives to promote the human-animal bond through high-quality medicine and fear-free techniques while providing individualized medicine to best suit each patients’ needs.

In her free time, Dr. St. John enjoys running, traveling, attending concerts, community outreach, and being outdoors in the sun. Dr. St. John has one ridiculously fluffy cat, Two, who enjoys eating and taking naps in the sun.
